Your Step-by-Step Denture Journey

Step 1 — Consultation & Exam: We start with a thorough oral exam, including a review of your gum and jawbone health, to determine whether full dentures, partial dentures, or implant-supported dentures are the best option for your goals and budget.

Step 2 — Preparation: If any teeth need to be extracted, we'll handle that first. Depending on your case, you may receive immediate dentures the same day, or wait for your gums to heal before your permanent denture is fabricated.

Step 3 — Impressions & Measurements: We take detailed impressions of your mouth along with bite measurements, which our dental lab uses to design a denture custom-built for your jaw shape, bite alignment, and facial structure.

Step 4 — Try-In: Before your denture is finalized, you'll try in a wax or trial version so Dr. Payton Lane can check the fit, shade, and appearance — and make adjustments before the final piece is made.

Step 5 — Final Delivery & Adjustment: Once your denture is complete, we fit it, check your bite, and go over care instructions. It's normal to need a few follow-up visits in the first weeks as your mouth adjusts to your new denture.

Step 6 — Ongoing Care: Dentures aren't a one-and-done purchase. Regular checkups let us monitor fit, catch wear early, and recommend relines or replacements as your mouth naturally changes over time.
